The event not only celebrated the academic promise of Latino youth but also honored the community leaders .

Hosted by Casa de la Cultura, the luncheon will honor community leaders and Barrientos Scholarship Foundation (BSF) scholarship recipients on May 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Metropolitan Community College - South Campus.
