BSF Career Fair Empowers Latino Youth with Career Pathways and Mentorship Opportunities
The Barrientos Scholarship Foundation (BSF) hosted its inaugural BSF Career Fair on Nov. 20 at the Modus Coworking space in downtown Omaha. The event brought together students and professionals from various industries, creating an invaluable opportunity for young Latinos to explore pathways in STEM, aviation, construction, engineering, architecture, health care, and business/entrepreneurship.
The event exceeded expectations, thanks to the dedication and support of many partners, sponsors, and contributors. Modus Coworking provided an exceptional space that fostered collaboration and inspiration, while Seasonal Solutions MGMT added a festive touch, lighting up the venue and bringing the holiday spirit to life.
The BSF Career Fair was co-hosted by InternNE, Casa de La Cultura Omaha, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and was sponsored by Clarkson College, Nebraska Methodist College, JE Dunn Construction, Jimmy John’s, NASH (Network of Advanced Specialty Healthcare), and American National Bank.
